Worst Prank

The worst prank anyone has ever pulled on me would have to be when I was about 7. It was Tuesday night, I think, and I was tired after school so I took a nap. I woke up at about 7:10 PM, and I thought I had slept through the night. Since my school started at 8:10 in the morning, I thought that I would be late. I hurried to get ready and started eating the leftover muffins that she had brought out for dinner, thinking it was breakfast. When she saw me getting ready for school at 7:00 at night, she decided to go along with it. She got her keys and her purse and casually went out to the car like a usual school morning. When we got in the car, she started laughing. I looked around and couldn't see anything funny around so I looked at her confused. She finally came out with the fact that it was 7:45 PM, and I felt pretty dumb.

What I will do this summer

I am planning to do a lot of things this summer. First, I am planning to go on a rafting trip with my friend for six days. That should be fun because the water should be fairly warm and there is a bunch of whitewater. Also, I am going to Freemont Lake in Wyoming for ten days. We have a lot of fun up there because we usually rent a party boat and build a log raft. We have done this every other year we have gone up there and had a lot of fun flipping it and standing on the mast we make. Otherwise, it will be a boring summer of bike rides, longboarding, and TV.

Pro's/Con's of the school year

Over the school year, many things happened to me that were either humorus, or completley annoying. Most of which I have already forgot about, but I will post about them anyway. First, we went to the haunted corn maze with everyone with for the school. That was fun, except for the fact that someone in our class kept on spoiling the surprises. Dumb person. We also did a dodgeball tournoment for our school. That was fun too, except the SAME dumb person kept on cheating with luck and he won. We don't really like that person. Some of the down sides of the year was that I had one C+ for the day they checked the grades for the honor rolls, so I didn't get on the AB honer roll. Another thing was I got braces, contacts, and glasses all in one week. I also got elbowed in the face today in P.E playing capture the flag. We don't like that person either.

A random post

Have you ever been to the Denver museum of science? If you have, you might have been in the space section of it and seen a big rocket hanging from the ceiling. That would be my brother's rocket. It was and still is hanging on the ceiling, near the rocketry part of the space exploration exibit. It is the biggest rocket in Colorado currently, which is why it is in the museum, and it had been launched three times before. It was also in the airport for a time, but that was about two years ago.

Reasons it is important to say please.

Please is good. Please is a good way to convince someone to let you do something. You can say please to people and they will be more likely to do something for you. If you don't say please, the person will think you aren't polite. This is why please is good.

I Really Hate It When...

You work all day for your neighbor for something and get like nothing for all your effort. It's disappointing. The other day, I was mowing OUR lawn and my neighbor asked me if I could mow hers too. As was expected, I couldn't really say no or come up with any excuses why not to because it was noon on Sunday, and I had nothing to do. I mowed her lawn in about an hour and a half. After I was done, she wanted me to help her dig a couple "small" holes for her trees she was going to plant. It sounded easy enough... I thought. She showed me where she wanted the holes and how big she wanted them. They weren't that "small" at all, because I had to have them 2 feet deep and 5 feet in diameter. They were also placed where two huge trees used to be, but were torn down because of the tornado, so there were a bunch of roots. The other hole that I had to dig was even larger and was over a spot where a gravel driveway used to be. That means a whole lot of chunks of rock that I had to dig through. After I was done with that, she commented on what a nice job I did and gave me $20. Yeah. I worked my butt off all day long digging through rocks and roots and mowing over 1 foot long grass and I get a measly amount of 20 bucks. I shouldn't have mowed my lawn in the first place so this wouldn't have happened.

A random ironic story.

There were people outside my door. I didn’t know who they where or what the wanted, but the window shade blocked my view of their faces. I couldn’t remember inviting anyone over that night, and I couldn’t think of any advertisement that came around the neighborhood this late at night. Who could it be? I picked up a baseball bat leaning against my wall and crept slowly to the door. I could hear them talking to each other. Maybe they were planning to break the door down. I rushed to the door in a fast attempt to stop them and swung the door open. I swung the bat at the closest one to me and hit him on the head.

“What did you do that for?” said the remaining pizza delivery guy. The other one was unconscious on my porch with the pizza in his hands. “I guess I had forgotten about the pizza I ordered.”, I thought.

P.S this story is not true..............For me at least.

I tried and that's what counts.

Slumdog Millionaire

I saw the movie Slum Dog Millionaire a while ago, and it's a free post day so I decided to post on that. Overall, it has a strong story line, but it was sort of ruined by the music in the middle and the ending. The song that they play in the middle is a modern song called Paper Planes by MIA. It is sort of a pop song that does not fit the movie at all, and it has gunshot and cash register sound effects in it, so it's pretty cheesy. At the end, when the main character finally finds his old girlfriend, everyone starts break dancing for the credits. It is a sad and emotional movie, and all of a sudden, everyone break dances. Yeah, otherwise it was a pretty good movie.

Dumb picture

Cell phones while driving?

Apparently, there is a law that could be passed in Colorado about how you might not be able to use a hand held cell phone while driving. I think that this is a good law for Colorado, because so many people are crashing here that we really do need to do something about it. They also said that they might ban hands-free devices too, and I agree with it. Some people think that having one hand on the phone is the reason for accidents, but it is really not paying attention to the road and paying attention to the conversation that you are having. Overall, I think they should ban cellular DEVICES in cars, because it is the reason for so many car accidents.

Earth Day

For our blog post today, we are writing a couple things we do or want to do to help the environment, since its earth day. One thing I am doing to help the earth is that my family is recycling cans, glass, plastic, and newspapers. I don’t exactly enjoy recycling every other week, but it is good for the environment I guess. We also use florescent, energy saving light bulbs around the house, which I also don’t enjoy because they have a delay before they finally turn on two seconds after you turned the light switch on. We’re trying to cut down on using the computer and the TV, but that’s never going to happen.

What I enjoyed on my field trip

Recently, on Friday, our class went on a field trip to the zoo and the aquarium. What I enjoyed most on this field trip was that we got to see something pretty sweet. We got too see bears gettin' it on. It was pretty funny actually, because the teacher we were with made some funny comments. The only down side is that he made us leave when they actually started........
ah....... yeah.

What I would do with 5 G's.

If I had 5 G's, I would get everything I don't have that everyone else has. A cell phone. Almost everyone else in the class has a cell phone, and just to make them all p. o.ed at me, I would get the best of all the cell phones, an iPhone. I could get this and brag to all my friends and shove it in their face for revenge over all those years they bragged of having their cell phone. That would be great.

Top 10 websites

In my blog post today, I am going to list my top 10 websites that I use. #1 would have to be google.com. I use this website to find all the other websites, like most people. #2 would probably be facebook.com, because I am on it posting on it a lot. #3 would be playlist.com, for how much music I listen to. #4 is probably wikipedia.com. This is the primary site I use for homework when I have to do a history assignment. #5 is most likely blogger.com, because I am at school doing my blog most of my day, and #6 is dictionary.com for English definitions every so often.

What I admire about my dad

One of the things I admire about my dad is that he is old and is somehow still athletically fit. He goes climbing or boating every weekend, or something similar to that, but every weekend he does go out to do something. He's 60, and it's kind of hard to picture a 60 year old out boating all these class 4 whitewater rapids that could kill someone, but he does it anyway. The only down side to this is that you can't have sleepovers on saturday night. In the morning, you have to get up early to go boating, climbing, skiing, rafting, or biking.

Spring Break

Over spring break, I didn't get a tremendous lot of sleep. On the days that I wasn't having an extreme sleepover, I slept in till like, 12 or 1, but otherwise, I had an abundance of sleepovers. On the first sleepover, we didn't stay up extremely late on my standards. We went to bed at about 5:00 in the morning, so it wasn't dramatically bad. The second and third sleepovers we had were till about 4 or some not so drastic time. But the 4th sleepover, oh yes. We stayed up all night long and didn't get a minute of sleep at all. How? It's called amazingly good Mountain Dew. It's pretty fun actually, because the night goes by freakishly fast and once you realize what time it is, you realize that it is already getting quite light outside again, and you have officially stayed awake for 24 hours, and maybe more if you can survive all day awake. Yup. Spring break well spent.

P.S.
I used descriptive words because I had to today.

Tough Economic Times

In these tough economic times, my family is doing many things to cut back. We go grocery shopping a lot less often and try to buy everything on sale that we can. Also, we don't go to the mall or go buy a bunch of new clothes every week or month. Instead of turning the heater way up when we're cold, we put on an extra shirt instead to save money from the heating bill. We bought florescent lights to replace all our other ones to save the energy bill, and we shut the computer off when we're not using it. Hopefully, the economy will recover because I am really tired of wearing a winter coat and gloves while I read a book.

iPods

In my blog post today, I am going to compare the different kind of iPods.

The Nano 4th generation.

Good: The nano is good for miniature games, quickly changing from song to song by flicking it in your hand, and easy to figure out.

Bad: Costs a bit more than average, and when you make a quick motion or hop with it in your pocket, it will respond to a flick and change the song when you don't mean to.

The iPod pebble.

Good: Indestructible. You could throw it on the sidewalk and it would not break. (maybe) It is pretty small and it is convenient for having an iPod for hiking or something outdoors.

Bad: It feels like a rock in your pocket. It is small, but it is short and fat. It does not have a screen so you don't know what song is playing unless you recognize it.

The iPod shuffle.

Good: It's handy for putting in your pocket, or on your pocket, because it has a clip. It has a suprising amount of memory for such a small device, and comes in various colors. It also has a shuffle feature that makes it play random songs like a playlist.

Bad: Doesn't have a screen. The larger the memory on the shuffle, the longer it takes for you to find a specific song, especially on shuffle. If you're on shuffle, you're likely to replay the same song more than once when you're searching for it. This is a good iPod for people that just want music, and not specific music.
To conclude, I would prefer the shuffle for it's small size and easy to use itunes program.

Fun things

The most fun thing that I have done lately is that I have set up a pitching area for baseball. I was bored, so I set up a big board leaning against my fence. After that, I put a sleeping bag pad in front of it and then a metal circular ring type stand in front of that. This way, when I pitch, if I pitch a good pitch, it will go through the ring and hit the mat, and if I pitch a bad pitch it should hit the board. I overestimated myself though. I hadn't pitched for a while, and I didn't know how good I was. Unfortunetly, I threw the ball and it hit the fence post about 3 feet above everything I set up and broke part of it off. Ya. It's been a while since I played baseball.

Profession

When I get out of college, I do not yet know what I am going to do. I am good at math and science, so I could always become an engineer. I could always try to join a band and drum, but I'm having problems finding a good guitarist, bass, and singer for it. Actually, I really don't know.

GPS

Lately, I found out that there are GPS devices in cell phones that police can use to locate you. Personally, it doesn't really matter to me because I don't have a cell phone and I am not getting one until I GRADUATE FROM HIGHSCHOOL. No big deal though, I guess I don't really need one for any other thing other than texting and taking pointless pictures of random things. Ya, some pretty typical teenage occupations with a cell phone.

Spagetti Americano

I am going to show you how to make spagetti with hot Itallian sausage. Alright. First, to make the side of garlic bread, you will need a half stick of butter, 2 loves of garlic, and an Itallian loaf of bread.

Put the half stick of butter in a microwaveable dish, and get a garlic press. Press the garlic into the dish with the butter and microwave it at 30 second intervals, to avoid burning the butter. After the dish is done, take it out and make sure it is fully melted.

Next, get a spreading brush and spread the garlic/butter onto the sliced loaf of bread.

Preheat and put the bread into the oven wraped in tinfoil at about 350 degrees and wait for 13-14 minutes. Once that is done, it is ready to be served.

Next, the spagetti.

You will need a package of Itallian spagetti, Olive oil, and a pan of boiling water. First, put all of the spagetti, or half the package, depending on the length of it, into the pan of boiling water with the olive oil. Wait for about 10-11 minutes. When you think it is ready, test it by throwing a noodle of spagetti onto a fridge, and if it sticks, then it is ready. If not, boil the spagetti for a little bit longer and it should be safe. Next, drain the water in the pan of spagetti into a coulender and serve the spagetti.

Next, the sauce.

You will need some itallian tomato sauce, some red wine (optional), itallian sausage, green pepper, and some olives (also optional).

First, sautey the pepper and italian sausage. After about 10 miuntes, add the sauce and about a 1/2 a cup of red wine for taste, and cook it for another 10 minutes. After that, you should be done. Put everything on a plate and serve.

Valentines Day

For my post today, I am supposed to say what I love and hate about Valentine's Day. I really don't love or hate Valentine's Day for the reason that I have no girlfriend, so what's the point. Really. Valentine's day is just a normal day for me. There is really nothing special that day, and I do nothing special either. So, to me, I don't really like or dislike anything about Valentine's Day.

Favorite President

Theodore Roosevelt is my favored president out of all. He was the youngest president in U.S. history, and also the most athletic. He also made good decisions throughout his presidency and was very successful. He led the public through reforms and new ideas. This is why Theadore Roosevelt is my favorite president.

Similar Disney Character

I believe that the Disney character I am most similar to is Peter Pan. The reason that I am most like Peter Pan is that I can fly and you know it. I also have my own fairy companion that flies along my side and she can make other people fly too. I also have the same amount of hair as the actor, and it is very curly.

Favorite Teacher

My P.E. teacher, Coach T, is the teacher of all time. Instead of being fat and lazy like normal gym teachers who tell YOU to do the work while THEY sit back and drink their slurpee, this Coach is actually physically fit. He never gets REALLY angry, but he just finds a way to make you stop talking. He pauses for a second and waits for you to realize that you are the only one talking. I think that Coach T is a good teacher for P.E.

Got Love?

Got love? Cause I don't. I'm officially single, and very happy. What I mean is I was going to the recreation dance, and I was asked out. Yup. This semi-ugly girl came up to me and started asking questions about me, and I knew where it was going. Eventually she asked me out and I said, "I don't know." Apparently she took that as a yes and asked for my number. I told her it, for the reason to talk to her later and break up with her the first time she called. Ya, it was quick relationship, approximately about 4 days.

Broke my hand

A very painful experience in my life was when I broke my hand. So, as usual, I was roller blading to school. Earlier in the morning, apparently, a train had derailed near my school. I roller bladed across the busy highway that I usually cross, and I saw the wreckage. I crossed the tracks and kept on my way, glancing at the derailed train behind me. I wasn't paying attention when I was going up the hill. My left roller blade strap got caught on my right clip, and I face planted. Unfortunately, I also broke my arm in the process because I put it in front of me. A friend stopped by and picked me up, gave me some tissues for my bloody nose, and took me to school. About a week later, my mom finally discovered that my hand was BROKEN after I begged her to take me to the doctor all week long.

Unrealistic Birthday

If I could have any birthday party I wanted, I would like to go to Hawaii. I have never been there and it is apparently very tropical and relaxing. I have never really tried coconut milk before, and it really sounds refreshing. If I ever do go to anywhere tropical, I plan on surfing. Yup. Hawaii would be quite fun.

Pet Peeves

Shut off the flipping microwave. Please. There is nothing more I hate than when some lazy sibling heats up their food and, apparantly, does not have the energy for such a simple task to press the CLEAR button on the microwave. Really? Also, I've realized that if I buy anything expensive and bring it to school, it will magically dissappear. Always, no matter what it is, someone thinks it's hilarious to take it and hide it from me, just to see me mentally suffer.

Welcome

Welcome to my blog, where you will find many random statements, opinions, and many other strange things.
